PNNL will introduce a unique fusion of Lustre and PNNL-created technology that will enable Peta-scale data analysis within the next few years. For this demonstration, PNNL will need 100 TB of storage and 10 GB of I/O bandwidth. There will be sixteen clients using thirty-two 2 Gbps Fibre Channel connections to StorCloud to perform sequential writes and random reads. The write to read ratio is 1 to 1000 during a typical run. The PNNL booth also needs a 10 Gigabit Ethernet into the SC04 SCInet infrastructure.
