StorCloud Overview

StorCloud, is a special initiative that is being planned as part of the SC2004 conference to be held in Pittsburgh from November 6-12, 2004. The goal of StorCloud is to build a petabyte-scale, high performance storage capability on the conference exhibits floor to highlight storage technologies. StorCloud will be comprised of state of the art SAN, NAS, and emerging technologies to create a virtual, on-site “storage on request” system to support researchers in demonstrating high bandwidth applications. For more information on this initiative, contact us at storcloud04@nacse.org.

StorCloud is being architected and deployed entirely by volunteers from government, industry and academia. Thanks to all of the following contributors for supporting the StorCloud initiative!
